At Aqua Life Swim Academy, we specialize in teaching people how to swim safely and confidently. Our goal is to help kids and adults feel at home in the water while building skills that last a lifetime. We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable instructors to join our friendly team. If you’re passionate about swimming, teaching, and making a difference, this is the perfect role for you!
Requirements
- National Lifeguard Certification – this one’s non-negotiable.
- Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C – safety is key!
- Teaching swimming: 2 years (required)
- National Lifeguard Certificate (required)
- SFA & CPR-C (required)
Nice To Haves
- Competitive swimming experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Teaching swim lessons for kids and adults at all levels—whether they’re just starting or perfecting their skills.
- Working with the Aquatics Supervisor to solve challenges and improve teaching techniques.
- Supporting and mentoring other instructors by giving helpful feedback during visits.
- Covering classes when needed, because teamwork makes the dream work.
- Helping out with staff meetings and training sessions to keep our team top-notch.
- Training new instructors on our curriculum so they’re ready to dive in.
- Conducting water interviews to help recruit great new instructors.
