About The Position
Promise Early Education Center, the Head Start program for Androscoggin County, has immediate openings for Teacher positions. This role is responsible for 3-5 year olds in a Head Start classroom, developing and teaching children, and preparing them for kindergarten. Promise Early Education Center is a leading early learning program in Central Maine dedicated to educating the whole child and preparing them for success in school and beyond. The agency provides a safe, engaging, and empowering place for children to learn and grow, offers a results-driven educational curriculum taught by degreed teachers, and supports parent and caregiver engagement through partnership, communication, and a commitment to the parent as the primary educator.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associates Degree in Early Childhood or related degree.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers.
Nice To Haves
- Level 1 or higher in Maine Roads to Quality.
