About The Position

Requirements
- The commitment and passion to work with children.
- Great communication and written skills.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education – OR a degree with at least six (6) courses in Early Childhood Education.
- Experience teaching preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for a Head Start classroom of 3 to 5 year-old children.
- Working collaboratively with an assistant teacher, family members and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.
- Support an age-appropriate learning environment.
- Implement provided curriculum.
- Complete child assessments.
- Work on helping to meet all children’s needs.
- Gain professional growth and collaboration.
