Head Start Teacher (Magnet Cove)
About The Position
Arkansas Early Learning (AEL) is seeking a Head Start Teacher to provide comprehensive Head Start services to children and families enrolled in the program. The Teacher will utilize the center environment to assist staff with creating rich learning opportunities that build on daily routines and support each child's development. AEL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving vulnerable children ages birth to five and their families throughout Arkansas with free Infant, Toddler, and Pre-K educational childcare/daycare programs. AEL provides transformational learning programs, implements an education curriculum from 6 weeks old, and offers a variety of child and family support services in a loving, caring, and safe environment. The organization's mission is to build a stronger community by empowering children and families with skills essential to their success.
Requirements
- A Bachelor or Associate in Early Childhood Education or Child Development - Required
- An Associate, Bachelor or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education with experience teaching preschool-age children - Required
