The Head Start Lead Teacher will play an essential role in providing all aspects of a quality child development program with emphasis on the cognitive, social and emotional development of preschool-aged children. Your day will involve providing quality educational experiences for preschool-aged children by planning and preparing daily and weekly program experiences while considering the needs of children. You will engage in adult-child interactions that are responsive, supportive, and respectful of children’s needs, development, and play interests. You will establish consistent classroom routines and activities. You will design and maintain a warm and nurturing classroom environment which meets the standards expressed in National Association for the Education of Young Children and NH Child Care Licensing regulations. Each day is an opportunity to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and build a foundation for lifelong success in the lives of children and their families.
