About The Position

Kansas Children's Service League (KCSL) is seeking a full-time Head Start Education Supervisor in Garden City, Kansas. This role is responsible for providing general guidance and supervision to assigned staff in a designated supervision area, as well as the day-to-day training and monitoring of Head Start classrooms. KCSL is a statewide, nonprofit agency founded in 1893, dedicated to protecting and promoting the well-being of children and families through programs in health, safety, and education. The agency aims to help children and parents develop skills for success and break cycles of neglect, abuse, and trauma. KCSL is the Kansas chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America and Circle of Parents.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education OR Advanced degree with equivalent coursework in early childhood education and early education teaching experience.
Associates degree in early childhood education or other related field with 2 years of experience working in early childhood. Must be willing to work towards the completion of bachelor’s degree.
Active CDA with 3 years of Head Start Experience. Must be willing to work towards the completion of bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular supervision and meetings with staff.
Complete performance reviews for each staff member supervised.
Provide support and guidance to all assigned staff with their daily job responsibilities.
Conduct frequent monitoring tasks to provide input and feedback accordingly to staff, management, and leadership teams.
Ensure compliance with HSPPS and KDHE Licensing Regulations.
