About The Position

Looking for a dynamic leader for a fast-paced and growing company. This is a Head Plant Maintenance Technician / Engineer opportunity with a family-owned regional company that has been growing successfully since 1934. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of at least 3-5 years of plant maintenance and leadership experience. The candidate must have the ability to communicate with all levels of management, manage and support engineering teams, and believe in well-defined preventative maintenance programs. The role requires the ability to lift, push up to 50 pounds and flexibility in schedule. Capital Textile Service, Inc. is a linen rental supply and commercial laundry company providing services to hospitality, lodging, healthcare, and small business customers. The company is dedicated to resource conservation and social responsibility, helping customers reduce their environmental impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of at least 3-5 years plant maintenance and leadership experience
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Manage and support engineering teams
  • Believe in well-defined preventative maintenance programs
  • Ability to lift, push up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures
  • Knowledge of boilers
  • Knowledge of air compressors
  • Knowledge of welding and piping
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Knowledge of electrical circuitry and PLC's
  • Knowledge of electro/mechanical utility and electrical trouble shooting
  • Knowledge of general equipment and building maintenance
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Highly organized
  • Computer literate
  • Associates Degree in Engineering or related field or sufficient experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance program
  • Work with other associates in a team to accomplish goals
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
  • Assist in other areas and/or departments as needed
  • Supervision of front line maintenance personnel
  • Train and develop existing and new maintenance staff
  • Design, plan, install, and maintain plant systems
