About The Position
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of User Research to lead user research efforts. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of user research activities to provide deep insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points. This role will be instrumental in shaping user-centered product strategies and enhancing overall user experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading user research teams in a dynamic environment.
- Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering.
- Proficiency with user research tools and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive user research strategies aligned with business and product goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of user researchers to conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
- Design and manage user research studies including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic studies.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to integrate research findings into the product development process.
- Translate complex research data into clear, actionable insights and communicate findings effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in user research.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles within the company.
