The Head of US Integrated Insights is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering and coordinating insights through deep quantitative and qualitative research. The goal is to improve market understanding and maximize growth across all oncology franchises within the US Oncology Business. In this highly consultative role, you will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Managed Care, Medical, and Finance to build strategy and guide execution. You will lead around 40 experts through 6 direct reports working in primary market research, data analysis and forecasting. You will develop capabilities and products for precise, real-time engagement and flexible business planning. This is an opportunity to build a measurable impact at scale. You will translate complex data into clear direction, influence major investment decisions, and elevate how we understand patients and customers. You will cultivate leaders, innovate, explore AI capabilities and represent US Oncology in critical governance forums that build portfolio choices and commercialization investment. What You’ll Do: Strategy and Leadership Serve on the US Oncology Business Excellence Leadership Team and represent US Oncology in Global Forecast Governance to influence strategy and investment decisions. Lead a 40-person insights team through 6 director reports supporting all US Oncology franchises; deliver decision‑ready patient, customer, and market insights for in‑market and pipeline assets. Align cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Managed Care/Market Access, Medical, and Finance to embed data-driven decision making and pull-through to the field. Planning, Performance, and Decision Support Run the quarterly planning cycle, including short‑ and mid‑term forecasting, scenarios, risk/opportunity assessments, and senior leadership briefings. Establish KPIs, influence dashboard design and performance tracking. Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations and action plans for senior leaders; drive test‑and‑learn and agile delivery. Advanced Analytics and Capability Building Advance capabilities across primary research, secondary data, modeling, and AI/ML; adopt new data sources and platforms to increase impact and speed. Deliver cross‑portfolio learning by codifying best practices, playbooks, and reusable assets that scale across tumor types, channels, and lifecycle stages. People, Governance, and Operations Lead, coach, and develop an inclusive, high‑performing team; strengthen first‑line managers and the broader insights team to create a diverse leadership pipeline. Manage vendors and partnerships (agencies, data providers, tech) to balance innovation, value, and delivery excellence. Own the functional budget; prioritize resources to highest‑value opportunities and measure the return on investment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business, marketing or the sciences
  • 10 years of experience within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry or a related analytics field, with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Deep understanding of the strategic analytics process and proven skill in integrating data, insights, and analytics to deliver decision‑ready recommendations.
  • Expertise in performance measurement, forecasting, and scenario analysis across launch and in‑market brands; demonstrated ability to act decidedly with incomplete or imperfect information.
  • Strong executive communication and influencing skills, with proven ability to influence laterally and vertically without formal authority; able to motivate teams and maintain high levels of respect for and from peers.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high‑performing teams in highly complex and fast‑moving environments; skilled at change leadership and talent development.
  • Innovative and structured approach to problem solving, with business judgment, acumen, and pragmatism; maintains an objective, independent, and fact‑based perspective.
  • Demonstrated experience working within highly matrixed, cross‑functional business units across commercial, medical, payer/managed care, and finance interfaces.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in a scientific, quantitative, or business discipline (e.g., MS, MPH, MBA, PhD).
  • Strong grasp of fundamentals of business strategy, strategic marketing, economics, and corporate finance, including P&L drivers, investment trade‑offs, and ROI.
  • Strong planning and project/program management experience leading multi‑workstream initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Experience collaborating with advanced analytics teams to align insights with business strategy, leveraging AI/ML applications, decision science, and experimentation platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of oncology data sources and evidence (claims, EHRs, testing, RWD/RWE, patient‑reported outcomes) and associated compliance considerations.
