About The Position

Eightfold is seeking a Head of Total Rewards to own and evolve our global rewards strategy across compensation, equity, benefits, and sales compensation design. Reporting to the CHRO, this is a senior individual contributor role with broad scope and direct influence on how we attract, retain, and motivate talent at every level of the organization — including our growing go-to-market teams. You will operate as the subject matter authority across all rewards disciplines and serve as a key partner to People leadership, Finance, and the executive team.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience across total rewards disciplines, with meaningful depth in at least three of the four focus areas: compensation, equity, benefits, and sales compensation design
  • Demonstrated ability to build and run programs independently as a senior IC, without reliance on a large team beneath you
  • Strong experience in sales compensation design and variable pay mechanics in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment
  • Experience with equity administration and executive compensation in a pre-IPO or IPO-readiness context
  • Comfortable preparing Board-level materials and presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model compensation scenarios and translate data into clear recommendations
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills — you are the person others come to when the answer is not obvious
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment where you define the work as much as you execute it

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage a competitive, equitable global compensation framework spanning all functions and levels
  • Lead annual compensation planning cycles, including salary reviews, market benchmarking, and budget management in partnership with Finance
  • Advise executive leadership on compensation philosophy, pay equity, and market positioning
  • Prepare and present Board-level compensation materials in partnership with the CHRO
  • Stay current on compensation trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices to drive continuous improvement
  • Own end-to-end equity program design and administration, including refresh grants, new hire awards, and executive equity packages
  • Partner with Legal and Finance on equity strategy, modeling, and IPO readiness planning
  • Educate employees and managers on equity programs and ensure a clear, consistent experience
  • Oversee global benefits strategy and vendor relationships, ensuring programs are competitive, compliant, and employee-centric
  • Lead open enrollment, benefits administration, and ongoing program evaluation
  • Benchmark benefits offerings regularly and make recommendations that reflect both market competitiveness and employee needs
  • Design, implement, and continuously refine sales compensation plans that align incentive structures with business objectives and GTM strategy
  • Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Finance to model plan economics, quota design, and payout mechanics
  • Ensure sales comp plans are clearly communicated, consistently administered, and audited for effectiveness and fairness
  • Serve as the internal expert on variable pay design across all commission-eligible roles

  • family medical coverage
  • vision coverage
  • dental coverage
  • competitive base salary
  • eligibility for equity awards
