Role Overview: The position acts as the main point of contact for Supply Chain within the ACEL Bulk autonomous production units (APUs): B100 and Legacy (b89/B90) and is responsible for establishing attainable production schedules in alignment with capability assumptions and ensures batches are released as per established cycle times to meet delivery targets. Provides vision and leadership to the schedulers and flow controllers and escalates SC related topics within other areas of SC such as raw materials availability warehousing and internal distribution.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in scheduling, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with proven track record of scheduling and aligning stakeholders, supporting decision-making for production lines.
  • Interpersonal skills: ability to engage and collaborate with multiple partners within site functions to gather information and assess feasibility.
  • Change agent: ensure best practice implementation and system adoption.
  • Proactivity is a must, given the anticipation component of the position.
  • Proficient with planning system ERP (SAP), ability to analyze data and build mitigations.
  • Build recommendations to aid decision making.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or similar is preferred.
  • APICS certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly planning cycle/ budget Monitoring APUs’ performance and capability analysis in collaboration with the Head of Supply Chain projects and performance and the Global Supply Planning team.
  • Escalate short term load vs capacity imbalances at monthly Site supply review meeting.
  • Makes the connection between Global Supply Planning team and the APUs to ensure alignment on B100 and Legacy transition strategic assumptions for planning.
  • Scheduling Accountable for feasibility and reliability of firm horizon plans, sequence of orders, management of short-term priorities and are in alignment with project requirements, Maintenance and Tech services plans, capability validated assumptions and resources available.
  • Identify and feedback short term variations (yield / delays / resources) at DP/FG level potentially leading to changes in the fluid horizon plans.
  • Ensure efficient frozen horizon schedules with campaigning to ensure the right balance between supply security and cost efficiently.
  • Ensure SMS standards are applied within the E2E flow controlling pillar as an enabler to batch release adherence to cycle times.
  • Ensure Flow and Supply SMS standards are applied with the Supply Chain APU team.
  • Define convergence plan; batch allocation; Track batches & regulatory constraints
  • Ensure optimal allocation of Bulk inventory to feed the DP formulations plans to optimize business outcome within regulatory constraints (flavor management) & Final call on asset utilization/efficient campaigning.
  • Performance & CI Making sure that improvements opportunities on the processes/data are correctly escalated and contributing to Continuous Improvement.
  • Ensuring that SMS 2.0 standards are applied for the flow and supply ecosystem (incl. Role cards, standard workplan, standard process & flows, data management) by executing regular Gemba walks and process confirmation.
  • Ensure monthly inventory at risk reviews are performed and establish mitigation plans with the APU.
  • Meeting participation & contribution Leads Evaluation Destruction review.
  • Participate & Lead when necessary to Level 2 +QDCI meeting.
  • Participate in continuous improvement meetings.
  • Participates or Leads Site Supply Review (rotation with the other Supply chain APU heads).
  • Participates in Monthly Site SC Performance.
  • Participates in Site Capability Review.
  • Other duties Leads APU MPS process.
  • Work with APU Head and APU leadership team when supply constrain situations arise due to production issues, Project execution, changes in demand etc. These are typically the complex situations that require leadership support and/or decisions on mitigation plans.
  • Main member/ counterpart for APU leadership team.
  • Attending and leading, when necessary, Level 2 meetings (Supply Chain +QDCI Level 2, Key Site Planning Meetings) as well as Site Supply Review.
  • Ensuring that HSE behaviors are applied in the Supply Chain APU.
  • Monitoring performance and contributing to upskilling SC FF&P APU members.
  • Monitor remaining shelf-life at each stage.
  • Ensures master data is updated as required from the MD CI meetings, Master Data audits, etc.
