About The Position

As the Head of Supply Chain, you will lead the entire Supply Chain organization at the Brooklyn Park Minnesota site. This includes all Warehouse operations. The site manufactures antibody for the products Entyvio and ADCetris. You will provide thought leadership and demonstrated ability to coach and influence at the executive level and across the broader organization. You will also oversee and manage on multiple commercial and intermediate product lines within a segment of the Takeda Biologics operating model.

Requirements

  • BS in Operations/Logistics, Finance, Engineering, or a similar degree; at least 10-12 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in Planning and/or Supply Chain Systems (SAP), e.g., ERP inventory Management skills including essentials of MRP Planning and Work Order Management; knowledge of Production Scheduling or planning tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in improving inventory management operations.
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in developing performance predictive metrics, strong measurement, and analysis skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the development of supplier quality requirements and performing supplier assessments.
  • Strong leadership skills including leading projects with broad scope and impact outside own department and promotes teamwork between departments.
  • Knowledge of the development of supplier quality requirements and performing supplier assessments.
  • In-depth understanding of the business including profitability, inventory turns and service levels.
  • Understanding of Logistics including inbound and outbound material movement.
  • Proven track record of ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost is achieved in support of the business strategy.
  • Excellent business acumen with a focus on how Supply Chain processes and tools accelerate business result.
  • Embrace change, challenges status quo, and makes recommendations for improvements to products and processes.
  • Create tools that help simplify job tasks and shares these with others.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA and APICS certification preferred.
  • Six Sigma certification would be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Possess a solid understanding of data analysis, forecasts, schedules, and performance requirements.
  • Improve effective use of material, equipment, and personnel in distributing finished goods and receiving raw materials.
  • Identify/prioritize/provide resources to meet the annual operating plan and budgetary commitments.
  • Implement control systems to eliminate product discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliance to all regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the facility.
  • Improve product quality and cost and reduce customer complaints through a proactive program that includes interaction with internal partners and external suppliers.
  • Supervises, coaches, and develops others.
  • Drive results through team leadership and accurate goal setting.
