About The Position

The Strategic Partnerships, Investments & Innovation (SPIN) team sits at the center of BNY’s AI transformation. SPIN partners with business platforms across the firm to identify high-value workflow challenges, design AI-forward solutions, and help build the capabilities needed to sustain and scale those solutions. The team is growing and expanding influence, creating a unique opportunity to shape how one of the world’s largest financial institutions leverages AI to transform the future of work. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Design and operationalize the team’s strategic book of work, creating scalable processes, reporting frameworks, dashboards, and governance mechanisms that provide leadership with real-time visibility into priorities, milestones, risks, and progress. Lead the operating rhythm of a rapidly growing organization by driving execution discipline, financial and resource management, milestone tracking, risk identification, and cross-functional coordination. Drive AI capability development across SPIN by overseeing training adoption, promoting AI fluency, and ensuring the team remains at the forefront of AI-enabled ways of working. Serve as a strategic connector across SPIN’s core functions, fostering collaboration, surfacing critical information, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders and initiatives. Own SPIN’s internal communications strategy, developing compelling narratives and communication cadences that showcase the team’s impact, progress, and vision across BNY. Partner with the Global Head of SPIN to define and shape a new organizational capability focused on enabling business platforms to transform around AI solutions through talent, organizational, and operating model changes. Develop the business case, partnerships, and executive alignment needed to establish potential new capabilities and scale new functions. Collaborate with the People teams, product teams, delivery organizations, and business platforms to accelerate AI adoption, talent uplift, and sustainable transformation across BNY.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant experience leading strategy, operations, transformation, or chief-of-staff functions within complex organizations.
  • Proven ability to build structure, operating models, governance frameworks, and scalable processes in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments.
  • Experience partnering across multiple business functions and senior stakeholder groups to translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of organizational transformation, talent strategy, change management, and workforce enablement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with financial services, AI-driven transformation, technology-enabled operating models, or large platform-based organizations.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success building trusted partnerships across business, technology, talent, and operational functions.
  • Proven leadership presence and executive credibility with the ability to influence stakeholders from frontline teams through C-suite leadership.
  • Experience leading through ambiguity, inspiring teams, and driving organizational change in high-growth, transformational environments.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational excellence.
