About The Position

As the functional lead for the Supply Chain at the manufacturing site, you are accountable for the definition and execution of all activities required to ensure timely service to our customers. Reporting to the Seqirus Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for planning of site operations, inventory management, warehouse management, placing orders for direct materials, pandemic readiness, and detailed and rigorous preparation for campaigns. You will be an important member of the Site Leadership Team, contributing to site performance, culture, safety, and quality. As an essential member of the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team, the role holder contributes to overall Supply Chain strategy and aligns site operations through S&OP and individual product strategies. The role partners across global and local team members to align with global processes and standards, ensuring delivery to customer expectations. The role includes ownership for assigned products, representing operations at cross-functional forums, ensuring agreement between planned future commercial and development activities and Supply Chain operational strategies.

Requirements

Extensive understanding of Supply Chain operations from sourcing to product delivery.
Experience working in a matrix environment where cross-collaboration is necessary.
Interdisciplinary experience across manufacturing, planning, logistics, and purchasing.
ERP system knowledge with preference for SAP.
Strong analytical skills, with ability to address complexity and problem-solving.
Bachelors Degree in business, or technical field relevant to our industry.
10 years relevant experience including 4+ years of leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

Preferable understanding of a vaccine supply chain process, including Regulatory and Quality elements.
Masters Degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead the site delivery of seasonal and pandemic campaigns, developing and directing the site Planning function to ensure robustness and meet customer contract requirements while supporting Seqirus business goals.
Oversee all site capacity planning models, ensuring accurate information is incorporated into global strategic plans and analyzing, developing, and implementing long-term planning strategies with network strategy.
Drive and facilitate the Site Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, generating data, supporting S&OP meetings, and interpreting forecasts to define and manage site processes for optimum inventory levels and pandemic preparedness.
Drive continuous improvement of Supply Chain planning processes and manage the deployment of new processes and applications.
Ensure decisions are escalated with accurate financial analysis to support decision-making, including the manufacture of non-commercial materials.
Lead the Annual Strain Update (ASU) and approval processes for all markets and products for site-owned influenza products, ensuring all ASU activities follow a Playbook approach.
Direct the execution of the campaign, including batch release, to ensure supply according to a lock supply plan, ensuring all site teams are involved and governed for campaign success.
Drive pre- and post-campaign review processes to challenge assumptions, share learnings with other Seqirus locations, and drive faster ASU approval and release timings.
Ensure inventory integrity and management across assigned elements of the Seqirus Supply Chain network to maximize margin opportunities and minimize write-offs, ordering materials and components on time for uninterrupted supply.
Accountable for the value of inventory held and the management processes ensuring full cGMP and financial compliance.
Act as the site interface with Global Procurement, ensuring site requirements for materials, goods, services, and product initiatives are prioritized, providing feedback and input to supplier relationships.
Lead the data management process for SAP at a site level, ensuring data maintenance and governance in line with global standards.
Ensure the Site Supply Chain and all other site functions provide current and accurate data for all ERP system updates.
Partner with peers to lead the development and implementation of Supply Chain business processes and operational systems focused on increasing operational effectiveness and cost efficiency.
Work across all sites to achieve standardization and optimization, aligning with other Supply Chain leaders to ensure high levels of quality and compliance.
Own the control systems for inventory at the site.
Through the Warehouse Manager, lead and motivate the Warehouse team to achieve plans, schedule targets, and customer requirements, assuring inventory accuracy.
Control and manage all warehouse activities in accordance with cGMP, housekeeping, and Health and Safety requirements.
Maintain warehouse KPIs and team sizes to optimize performance, safety, and cost.
Partner with Global Logistics to ensure the timely supply of product to meet export and domestic market requirements.
Ensure the organization can supply in the event of a pandemic in alignment with Advanced Purchase Agreements (APAs), including maintaining stock of materials, financial accountability, and site readiness.
Partner with Global Planning to deliver robust plans as part of the Pandemic S&OP process.
Partner with Procurement on vendor agreements to have a material strategy to minimize write-offs of material stock.
Contribute as a member of the Core Program Team, representing Global Supply Chain in the development strategy and execution plan for the full lifecycle of a product.
Review target product profiles and identify gaps in licensed supply capabilities.
Assess changes and impact to network strategy and locked supply plan of proposed initiatives.
Ensure SAP Master Data is updated to ensure approved initiatives.
Publish quarterly outlook for assigned products to SCLT and OLT.
