Verily is seeking a real estate and workplace services executive with a drive to get things done. You are passionate about bringing technological change to the Healthcare industry and building and managing great workplaces. A master juggler working on multiple initiatives at a time, you are focused on the details, doing the work, and finding creative ways to tackle big picture challenges.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 15+ years of business experience, including 10+ years leading real estate, facilities, EH&S, or workplace services.
Must have experience managing multi-site, rapid-growth environments spanning office, lab, depot, and manufacturing spaces.
Proven track record in strategic planning, daily operational management, and safety-conscious execution while prioritizing and driving progress across multiple complex tracks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional business partnering, presentation, and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to guide decision-making and lead discussions at the C-Suite level.

Nice To Haves

Success in building and developing high-performing REWS teams across complex, multi-site global geographies, ideally guiding a company from early-stage R&D through to a mature operating entity.
Advanced project/portfolio management and analytical skills, including deep familiarity with international, federal, and state financial, legal, and regulatory considerations in real estate and facilities management.

Responsibilities

Oversee the Transaction Management program, partnering with broker teams to assess site requirements, evaluate opportunities, and negotiate lease terms.
Lead REWS annual operational budget development, resource allocation, and continuous cost-effectiveness strategies across the global facility portfolio in partnership with Finance, Legal, and Alphabet stakeholders.
Manage domestic and international service providers, contractors, procurement, and contracts to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions, including robust 24/7/365 maintenance and redundancy planning.
Build strong relationships with key business partners to understand requirements, deliver optimized solutions, and proactively provide timely new capabilities for Verily's business, engineering, and operations teams.
Partner across internal and external functions—including Legal, Procurement, Security, and Operations—to effectively manage portfolio risks, compliance, and operational alignment.
