About The Position
A property management group overseeing a multifamily portfolio in New York City is looking for a seasoned leader to build and run their property management operation. This is a rare opportunity for someone who has been executing at a high level and is ready to take full ownership of a growing vertical.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of property management experience, ideally in New York City
- Capable of handling both field operations and back office setup
- Proven ability to build and scale systems, not just manage existing ones
- Strong command of AI tools and property management technology
Responsibilities
- Build and run a full property management operation from the ground up
- Oversee day-to-day field operations across a multifamily portfolio in NYC
- Manage both on-the-ground operations and back office functions as a single, unified leader
- Establish back-office functions including billing, charges, and administrative processes
- Build dashboards and KPIs tracking vacancy, turnover, unit downtime, and portfolio performance
- Drive a high-performance, culture focused on efficiency and results
- Monitor asset performance and push for continuous improvement across the portfolio
