About The Position

The Head of Product will lead product strategy, development, and execution at a fast-growing AI startup. This hands-on leadership role owns product roadmaps and delivery across consumer, professional, and enterprise AI products, working directly with executive leadership and engineering teams to scale AI-powered solutions. The role calls for a technical product leader with experience building products from 0 to 1, particularly in high-growth, VC-backed startups, and the ability to combine product vision with hands-on execution in an early-stage environment. The position is onsite five days per week in Los Altos, California, and includes leadership of a product team of 3–5 people, with potential to expand the team.

Requirements

8+ years of product management experience, including product leadership responsibilities.
Experience owning product roadmaps within AI-focused engineering teams.
Proven experience building and launching 0-to-1 products at a high-growth, VC-backed startup (Seed to Series D).
Experience leading and managing a product team of 3–5 people.
Strong understanding of AI/LLM-powered products, AI agents, and modern AI development tools.
Hands-on familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and agentic AI platforms.
Strong background in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or marketplace products.
Experience managing product delivery, engineering collaboration, and release schedules.
Ability to balance product strategy with day-to-day execution.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Bachelor's degree required.
Must be able to work onsite five days per week in Los Altos, California.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Founding Product Manager, first product hire, or early product leader at an AI startup.
Previous software engineering or technical development background.
Experience building AI-native products and working closely with LLM technologies.
Experience developing or scaling two-sided marketplace platforms.
Experience with enterprise security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Proven ability to hire, mentor, and grow product teams.

Responsibilities

Own product strategy and roadmaps across consumer, professional, and enterprise AI products.
Lead end-to-end product development, from initial concept and requirements through launch and ongoing improvements.
Work with engineering teams to set priorities, write product specifications, and manage releases.
Drive 0-to-1 product development while improving and scaling existing products.
Lead product design and improve user engagement, adoption, and retention.
Manage customer feedback, prioritize feature requests, and translate business needs into product decisions.
Work with enterprise customers to address privacy, security, compliance, and audit requirements.
Track product performance, measure results, and continuously improve the user experience.
Lead and manage a product team of 3–5 people, with the opportunity to expand the team as the company grows.
Collaborate with executive leadership on product strategy, delivery timelines, and business priorities.
