About The Position

The next decade of global infrastructure buildout will be driven primarily by private capital—including data centres, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, energy, utilities, and large commercial portfolios. We are calling a dedicated Private Sector sales motion and are seeking a Head of Private Sector Sales to build, lead, and scale this business. This role is both strategic and hands on. In the early phase, the leader is expected to operate as a player coach—selling directly into key private owners while building a high performing enterprise sales organisation underneath them. The Head of Private Sector Sales will own revenue outcomes, team development, and market positioning for Aurigo’s private sector business.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, ideally in complex B2B or capital intensive industries
  • Proven experience building and leading high performing sales teams
  • Demonstrated success selling to owners of capital assets or EPC organisations
  • Track record closing large, multi stakeholder, enterprise scale deals
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building GTM structure from early stages

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Data centres, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, energy, utilities, or large commercial portfolios
  • Familiarity with capital planning, construction management, or program/portfolio management platforms
  • Experience scaling a sales motion alongside strong Product and Engineering teams

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale Aurigo’s Private Sector sales organisation, starting with a small, senior team and expanding over time.
  • Hire, coach, and develop Account Executives with deep enterprise‑selling capability.
  • Establish disciplined sales execution, forecasting accuracy, and predictable revenue outcomes.
  • Sell directly into private infrastructure owners and owner‑represented EPC organisations.
  • Own and close complex, multi‑stakeholder enterprise SaaS deals with long sales cycles.
  • Position Aurigo as the system of record for capital planning, delivery, and governance across private portfolios.
  • Define and refine the Private Sector go‑to‑market strategy in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Product.
  • Shape account segmentation, vertical focus, and coverage models.
  • Ensure consistent, credible enterprise narratives aligned with Aurigo’s AI‑first platform strategy.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to translate private‑sector buyer needs into platform capabilities.
  • Partner with Marketing on messaging, wedge offerings, and account‑based strategies.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience to ensure successful adoption and expansion post‑sale.
