About The Position

Atoms is seeking a Head of People Technology to set the HR technology strategy and own the Workday platform as the company scales. The role includes deciding which Workday modules to add or retire, which systems to integrate, and when to build internally or work with an implementation partner. The Head of People Technology will design and deliver new Workday capabilities, optimize the existing tenant, close configuration gaps, and promote adoption. This role owns the integration layer connecting Workday with recruiting, payroll, benefits, finance, and identity systems. It combines hands-on configuration with leadership: configuring business processes, security, calculated fields, and reports while managing two lead configuration analysts in the US and a manager in the Philippines. The role is also responsible for Workday release management, data integrity, security, audit readiness, and evaluating the platform’s newer AI and data capabilities. The position is based in the San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Seattle office. Office-based teams work onsite five days a week. The base salary range is $200,000–$250,000 per year, with possible equity awards and an annual performance-based bonus.
