About The Position

Our client is an international iGaming company in the early stages of building an iGaming operator. The team is experienced, hands-on, and focused on long-term growth. They are now looking for a skilled payments professional to design and lead their entire payment function.
Role Overview
This is a high-impact role with full ownership of payments. You will be responsible for building the payment infrastructure from scratch, managing providers, and driving performance across all payment flows. The position is ideal for a senior specialist ready to grow into a Head of Payments role.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in payments within iGaming, fintech, or high-risk sectors
• Strong hands-on experience with PSPs, APMs, and integrations
• Deep understanding of payment flows, routing, and optimisation strategies
• Proven track record in negotiating and managing payment providers
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Strong ownership and proactive mindset
• Analytical and data-driven thinking
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

• Build and launch the full payment infrastructure from the ground up
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard PSPs, APMs, and banking partners
• Lead commercial negotiations and secure optimal terms with providers
• Monitor and improve approval rates, conversion, and transaction success
• Analyse payment data and continuously optimise performance
• Define and execute payment strategies across regions and markets
• Represent the company at industry events and grow partner network
