Requirements

• ~10+ years of experience in high-performing, fast-paced environments (tech, professional services, finance etc)
• A demonstrable instinct for commercial deal-making
• Exposure to working with regulators and policy makers in Africa
• Significant ties to Africa
• “No task too small” mentality and willingness to delve into gritty details to get things done
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in a language other than English (e.g. French), a plus
• Experience in Financial Services, Fintech, Payments

Responsibilities

• Owning the relationship with existing partners in Africa
• Identifying new partners and stakeholders in Africa, directly building relationships with them
• Negotiating great deals and overseeing the process from first meeting to go-live
• Working with regulators and policy makers across the region, representing the Taptap Send brand externally
• Tracking, analysis, and reporting of key metrics in markets
• Working with other members of the Growth team to develop and share best practices
• Working cross-functionally with Product, Ops, Business Development, and Engineering teams to ensure Taptap Send has the best product offering in the market, being the internal voice of the region
