Requirements

  • Visionary leader and a self-starter who takes the initiative to identify critical business needs.
  • Possess an innovative mindset, are willing to take calculated risks, and create solutions in complex environments.
  • Role model for Roche’s core values and Operating Principles, excel in VACC and Lean leadership.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and drive meaningful change through influence and partnership.
  • Over 20 years of experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in pharma end-to-end supply chain management with strong enterprise accountability.
  • Proven experience sitting on Enterprise leadership teams and managing P&L responsibilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking, quantitative, and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information for senior executive leaders.
  • Demonstrated track record in managing direct reports and leading in a highly matrixed, global setting.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% to meet business needs.

  • Preferred Senior Operational (Site Head or similar) experience.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of the Network of the Future Design (multi-billion CHF investment), including strategic work packages across multiple modalities.
  • Driving the annual Strategy Operating model for the Pharma Technical Operations Leadership team.
  • Shaping the future vision of the network strategy with a clear roadmap for delivery across both internal and external networks.
  • Translating long-range probabilistic forecasts into meaningful strategic choices and defining product allocation guidance for sourcing.
  • Connecting across the organization to support the introduction of innovation, advanced manufacturing technologies, and new platforms.
  • Leading and managing the PTLT Strategy Days, fostering a focus on Key Strategic Questions within the organization.
  • Owning the Product Sourcing governance process through the Product Network Committee and defining inputs for Strategic Workforce planning.
  • Synthesizing product strategies into a portfolio-level vision and facilitating aspirational product lifecycle targets with global partners.
  • Defining Risk at the PT Level, ensuring delivery of initiatives to reduce and mitigate risks as well as translate Risks into business continuity activities that ensure a resilient manufacturing network.
