About The Position

We’ve reached the “great product, organic love, minimal marketing” stage. You will be shaping our marketing org, working directly with the founders, owning everything from positioning to acquisition experiments. Think of it as a green-field experiment lab with real scale and resources behind it. We're looking for someone to lead us on the marketing front. Someone who's done it before in some similar capacity. You would have a large budget and autonomy to experiment aggressively.

Requirements

  • Thrive in high-intensity, ambitious start-up environments and bias hard toward action.
  • Have shipped scrappy, measurable growth wins for a PLG SaaS or dev-tool product.
  • Are a full-stack marketer who can run experiments without waiting on an army.
  • Can identify/write tight copy, sweat the headline, and think in experiments.
  • Love sitting with engineers and designers IRL (this is an office-first role).
  • Have experience bringing a PLG product upmarket and marketing to enterprise.
  • Have great taste and can oversee Gumloop's brand is well-guarded across all marketing efforts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to technical audiences or builders.
  • Past work in AI, PLG products, automation, or AI tooling.
  • You’ve been the “first marketer” before—or always found yourself acting like one.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the team's efforts across content marketing, blog, social media, product launches etc.
  • Dream up, launch, and iterate paid + organic campaigns (search, social, podcasts, influencer, newsletter swaps).
  • Own the experimentation results and decide the direction to invest Gumloop's resources in.
  • Distill technical features into crisp value props for both Enterprises and individuals; pressure-test with users; direct copy on website, landing pages, and sales-enablement snippets.
  • Hold the team accountable for conversions and the product's ability to convert customers once they hear about us.
  • Use available tooling to ruthlessly determine what's working vs what's not.
