Paces fixes that. We pair agentic AI with in-house development expertise to compress the full lifecycle (site identification through interconnection and permitting) into a fraction of the typical timeline. Our platform serves renewable energy and data center developers, real estate firms, and infrastructure operators, backed by 100s of proprietary data layers and a team of in-house domain experts. 🧑‍🎨 OUR TEAM We have built a team where people can proudly say their time at Paces is the most impactful, meaningful work of their career. Our amazing team in Brooklyn, New York includes incredible team members from tech companies like Meta AI, DeepMind, and Tesla; many high growth startups; as well as industry leaders from TotalEnergies, Con Edison and GE. Paces has a strong marketing foundation and is looking for a Head of Marketing to drive pipeline. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll optimize and scale established channels and drive the marketing function that takes us to the next stage of growth, including managing a current team of two.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Experience in a demand gen or growth-focused role at a high-growth SaaS or AI company
  • AI obsessed; vibe coding must be part of your workflow
  • Proven track record owning pipeline metrics and tying marketing activity to revenue outcomes
  • Strong communicator with experience shaping brand voice and messaging across channels
  • Moves fast and experiments; discards what does not work and doubles down on what does
  • Skilled at balancing channel optimization with building for long-term scale

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to renewable energy and data center developers, real estate brokerages, or infrastructure-focused buyers
  • Familiarity with how power projects get developed — siting, interconnection, permitting — and what slows them down
  • 1+ years of early-stage startup experience

Responsibilities

  • Own Paces pipeline number as we scale
  • Own positioning and messaging as the market evolves (AI infrastructure, data centers, grid constraints) and drive consistency across all channels.
  • Drive GTM strategy in close partnership with sales, customer success, and revops to ensure alignment and grow the net-new and expansion pipeline.
  • Own and optimize Paces' core demand gen channels across events, outbound, paid ads, partnerships while improving pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and CAC across all channels
  • Launch new channels and programs that meaningfully expand pipeline
  • Own our marketing reporting cadence; connecting marketing activity to revenue across pipeline influence, channel performance, and ROI
  • Partner with product to translate what we build into clear messaging, sales enablement, and go-to-market plans that resonate with developers and operators
  • Manage and develop our team of two, building a high-output function that punches above its weight
  • Leverage AI tools across content, research, and campaign execution to accelerate output and keep a lean team operating at full capacity
  • Ensure Paces is seen as the defining voice in AI-powered power development through thought leadership, media, and presence at key industry moments
