About The Position

We’re seeking a remote (US) exceptional B2B growth marketing leader to help expand Alt Legal’s customer base of law firms and companies. As Head of Marketing, you’ll report directly to the CEO and take full ownership of our growth strategy. You’ll develop and execute marketing plans that support new customer acquisition and drive revenue growth across multiple channels with decisions that are rooted in data. You’ll collaborate closely with the Sales Team, Head of Community, Content Specialist, Support Team, Customer Success, and external contractors. You should be equally comfortable crafting and executing marketing initiatives as you are delegating and managing projects. As the head of a small marketing team, this will be a player-coach role in which you will develop and oversee strategy and independently execute initiatives. This is a pivotal role at a critical time in Alt Legal’s growth, and we’re ready to invest in the marketing team to ensure its success. You’ll have an immediate and meaningful impact, with significant opportunities for leadership as the team expands.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a focus on product marketing, growth marketing, or demand generation
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable marketing success
  • Data-savvy and experienced in leveraging analytics to drive strategy
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, Salesforce, Wordpress, and other marketing tools
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Commitment to team cooperation and culture
  • Willingness to dig in and complete tasks
  • Ability to reflect on and learn from mistakes
  • Willingness to recognize and correct deficiencies in skills and knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in legal tech, law firm marketing, or in marketing to regulated professional audiences (e.g., financial or medical fields)
  • Startup and growth-stage experience strongly preferred
  • Team leadership and project management experience, including working with both internal staff and contractors

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute on demand generation and growth marketing strategy across multiple channels, including digital ads, SEM, email campaigns, partnerships, and more.
  • Create a full-funnel, demand- and lead- generation engine using account-based marketing and other data-driven marketing techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assist with current strategies and develop future plans (including new product launches.)
  • Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Operations teams to support pipeline goals.
  • Continuously measure, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness, using data to optimize and iterate
  • Work closely with our content specialist to ensure our content reinforces our SEO strategies.
  • Strengthen Alt Legal’s brand identity as the industry standard in trademark management
  • Implement organic social media and PR strategy to position our executives as thought leaders.
  • Define, track, and communicate key marketing KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Develop and maintain a deep-rooted understanding of our industry, product, and community
