Head of Marketing

AJAIANew York, NY
Onsite

About The Position

Ajaia is an AI implementation consultancy and product studio that helps organizations achieve measurable ROI from AI across strategy, workforce training, process optimization, and custom development. The Head of Marketing will be a creative strategist responsible for building and growing Ajaia's audience. This role involves setting brand and product positioning, developing content strategy, launching a podcast from scratch, and leading the social media presence. The position requires strong writing skills, editorial judgment, and the ability to use AI tools for content creation. The Head of Marketing will report directly to the founders and will be evaluated based on the work produced and the audience built.

Requirements

  • A strong writer with real editorial taste.
  • Experience building or growing an audience, publication, or channel.
  • A clear point of view on AI, comfortable publishing it under your own name.
  • AI fluent: you use AI daily to draft, edit, and produce content, and you can tell good output from slop.
  • Comfortable setting brand positioning and defending it under real-time questioning.
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Willingness to work on-site in New York.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred and is not a requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience launching a podcast, newsletter, or show from scratch.
  • A personal following or publication of meaningful size.
  • Experience marketing to enterprise or B2B buyers.
  • A mix of agency and in-house experience

Responsibilities

  • Set positioning for Ajaia and the product suite, and hold it across everything published under our name.
  • Launch Ajaia's podcast from scratch: find the format, book the first guests, and get the first episodes out.
  • Write and personally produce the content that carries the most weight: the pieces, posts, and scripts that need a real point of view, not a template.
  • Decide the two or three channels worth betting on this quarter, and say plainly what to stop doing to fund them.
  • Build the AI-assisted workflows that let a small operation publish like a much larger one.
  • Commit to one pipeline number each quarter, name the baseline you need before you commit to it, and report against it honestly.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team and offshore partners so the calendar and the channel bets hold together.
  • Report to the founders on what is working and what you are doing about what is not.

Benefits

  • Competitive benefits.
  • Performance bonus of up to 100% of base salary.
