About The Position

We are looking for our next Head of Marketing, based in New York. You will be responsible for transforming our marketing team into a coherent system, sitting on the leadership team to set strategy while remaining a "player-coach." You will own the brand and positioning for a niche, relationship-driven audience, ensuring that every function—from Growth to Content—pulls in the same direction to define the AI-powered IP category.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years owning both brand/PMM and growth functions simultaneously.
  • PMM-Major Profile: You think in brand, narrative, and segment; you have a proven track record of shipping sales enablement that changes rep behavior.
  • Full-Stack Budget Ownership: At least 18 months of accountability to a pipeline or revenue number.
  • Operator Mindset: You are an "80% operator, 20% strategist" who is energized by doing the work personally in a lean, high-leverage team.
  • AI-Native: AI is your default operating mode; you can demonstrate concrete AI-accelerated output and design efficient workflows.
  • Strong Alignment: Ability to bridge the gap between Marketing, Sales, and Growth to create a unified execution system.
  • Leadership: Experience managing and coaching growth profiles and content managers to higher performance levels.

Responsibilities

  • Positioning & Messaging: Own the product marketing foundation, including ICP definition, segment-specific messaging, and competitive differentiation.
  • Sales Enablement: Ship enablement materials that move the needle on win rates and deal cycles, ensuring talk tracks are consistent across the Sales team.
  • Brand & Thought Leadership: Build DeepIP’s brand through practitioner LinkedIn presence, conference placements, and a distinctive POV on AI's transformation of IP.
  • Customer Marketing & ABM: Identify and activate practitioner influencers for an advisory board and execute targeted account-based programs for Tier 1 targets.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and coach a team of four (Growth, Content, GTM Engineering) and define clear hand-offs between brand/ABM and demand gen.
  • AI Strategy: Set the internal standard for AI usage in marketing workflows to keep the function lean, fast, and high-leverage.
