Requirements

University degree
More than 2 up to 4 years of job experience as a Head of Logistics
Experience in an automotive company
English language proficiency
Knowledge in SAP or ERP System
Leadership skills

Responsibilities

Direct, manage, and optimize all logistics resources and budgets within a medium plant operation (personnel, inventory, transportation, infrastructure/equipment, external resources) to achieve minimal total costs and meet customer requirements.
Plan future resource requirements for a medium plant operation.
Direct and control the design of material and information flows and logistics processes of a medium complex plant operation.
Be responsible for the implementation of suitable logistics controlling.
Coordinate and balance conflicting interests of all logistics personnel and internal/external stakeholders to provide optimal solutions in a medium plant operation.
Manage bottleneck situations and customer escalations.
Participate in global strategic projects and facilitate pilot projects.
Secure the implementation and application of global logistics and HELLA standards (e.g., process, equipment, health & safety, environment).
Ensure the specified logistics quality of the location and qualify underperforming suppliers to meet required quality standards.
Participate in internal and external negotiations.
Arrange for relevant declarations and clearance measures, considering legal and country-specific points of view.
Drive continuous improvement and establish process improvements.
Collaborate with regional logistics to consistently increase logistics performance.
Be responsible for achieving targeted logistics KPIs within plant logistics.
Supervise and execute the management of high complexity logistics projects from a technical and organizational perspective along the supply chain and product lifecycle, including rollout and sustainable implementation of corporate standard processes.
