About The Position

At Seakeeper, we're redefining what's possible on the water – and we need technology leadership that can scale with our ambition. As our Head of Infrastructure & Security, you'll build, secure, and evolve the foundation of technology that supports our global operations. You'll oversee enterprise infrastructure, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, service delivery, and technical governance while serving as the leader our teams turn to when challenges are complex and stakes are high. This isn't a role for someone who leads from the sidelines. We're looking for a true player-coach – someone who can set the vision, develop the team, and drive priorities while also rolling up their sleeves to troubleshoot critical issues, review architecture, lead major initiatives, and actively contribute to technical problem-solving. Part strategist, part architect, and part hands-on operator, you'll help shape the future of technology at Seakeeper while ensuring the business remains secure, resilient, and ready for what's next. You'll support our operations by: Leading Infrastructure & Cloud Strategy Owning and evolving Seakeeper's Microsoft Azure, network, and infrastructure environments Driving architecture decisions that improve reliability, scalability, and performance Ensuring resilient network, storage, backup, and connectivity solutions across all locations Overseeing the technology components of physical security systems and facility expansions Championing Cybersecurity Leading the company's cybersecurity strategy, governance, and risk management efforts Overseeing vulnerability management, endpoint protection, identity security, and incident response Partnering with leadership to communicate risks and strengthen the organization's security posture Driving adoption of modern security practices and Zero Trust principles Securing Connected Technologies Partnering with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to secure connected devices and systems Establishing standards for device identity, network segmentation, and secure data exchange Evaluating technology and vendor risks to protect critical intellectual property and business systems Advancing Automation & AI Expanding automation and Infrastructure-as-Code capabilities to improve efficiency and consistency. Guiding adoption and governance of enterprise AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and related tools Identifying opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and modern IT practices across the business Driving Service Excellence Leading Service Desk operations and IT service management practices Ensuring a high-quality technology experience for employees across all locations Overseeing Microsoft 365, endpoint management, device lifecycle processes, and IT support operations Partnering closely with HR to deliver seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences Strengthening Business Resilience Owning disaster recovery planning and technical recovery readiness Supporting business continuity planning and incident response exercises Ensuring mission-critical systems remain resilient, recoverable, and well documented Leading Strategic Technology Initiatives Delivering critical infrastructure and security projects that support business growth Establishing governance processes that balance business priorities with technology risks Developing and maintaining a clear technology roadmap that aligns with company objectives Developing High-Performing Teams Leading, coaching, and mentoring infrastructure, cloud, and support professionals Creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing Building organizational capability while reducing key-person dependencies Managing Technology Investments Owning infrastructure and security budgets, vendor relationships, licensing strategies, and technology sourcing decisions Ensuring investments deliver measurable value, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity
Experience leading technical teams and developing talent
Experience architecting and administering Microsoft Azure environments
Expertise with enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs, wireless technologies, and high-availability architectures
Experience managing identity platforms including Entra ID/Azure AD and hybrid identity environments
Experience with endpoint protection, EDR/XDR platforms, vulnerability management, and security operations
Experience developing automation and infrastructure management solutions using PowerShell, Terraform, or similar technologies
Experience overseeing service desk operations, ITSM processes, SLAs, endpoint management, and device lifecycle administration
Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments and collaboration platforms
Demonstrated success implementing disaster recovery and business continuity programs
Experience managing vendor relationships, software licensing, technology contracts, and infrastructure budgets
Experience supporting multi-site organizations with several hundred employees
Strong project management and organizational skills
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical execution

Nice To Haves

CISSP, CISM, Security+, or similar cybersecurity certifications
Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent
Experience with IoT security, certificate-based device identity, and PKI technologies
Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
Experience implementing Zero Trust architectures and phishing-resistant MFA solutions
Experience governing enterprise AI technologies including Microsoft Copilot
Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite or SAP
Experience with operational technology (OT) environments and manufacturing systems
SharePoint administration and architecture experience
