UP.Labs is hiring a hands-on Head of Infrastructure for Scout, an AI-powered safety intelligence platform built in partnership with Alaska Airlines. The industry is high-stakes, tightly regulated, and still runs on reactive, form-based reporting. Scout aims to fix this by replacing slow, dropdown-based reporting with a real-time intelligence layer where frontline employees can report incidents via voice, photo, or text. Scout then classifies, triages, and links these reports across workgroups, allowing analysts to focus on prevention rather than paperwork. The platform is built for aviation compliance (FAA Part 121, Safety Management System workflows) and is already live with Alaska Airlines, with more airline partnerships in development. As the first dedicated infrastructure leader, you will own architecture, cloud infrastructure, and data infrastructure as the team scales from stabilization to production. You will take over existing hardware, cloud, and systems responsibilities, build the foundation for enterprise customers, and set the long-term infrastructure direction. You will also have access to the UP.Partners ecosystem for support.
