We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Human Resources who is ready to do more than manage an HR agenda. We are looking for someone who is driven to shape it. As the Head of Human Resources for our Midland facility, you will be an integral member of the Leadership Team, influencing business decisions, driving organizational growth and ensuring our people strategy aligns with and supports our ambitions. This role offers visibility, influence and the opportunity to grow alongside the business.

Requirements

  • Significant HR leadership experience in manufacturing, engineering, or complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Degree level education and a relevant HR qualification (CHRP or equivalent).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to align people strategy with business priorities and drive meaningful change.
  • Experience operating within a matrix organization and working across Centres of Expertise.
  • The confidence to challenge constructively, navigate complexity and drive positive change.
  • Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada, have resided in Canada for a minimum of five consecutive years, and meet all other program requirements for security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within a unionised environment and/or highly regulated industries would be advantageous but is not essential.
