Join argenx as we transform immunology and deliver medicines that help autoimmune patients get their lives back. argenx is preparing for multi-dimensional expansion to reach more patients through a rich pipeline of differentiated assets, led by VYVGART, our first-in-class neonatal Fc receptor blocker approved for the treatment of gMG, and with the potential to treat patients across dozens of severe autoimmune diseases. We are building a new kind of biotech company, one that maintains its roots as a science-based start-up and pushes our commitment to innovate across all corners of our business. We strive to inspire and grow our company, our partnerships, our science, and our people, because when we do, we deliver more for patients. argenx is focused on developing and commercializing product candidates with the potential to be either first-in-class against novel targets or best-in-class against known, but complex targets to treat immunologic diseases with significant unmet medical need. Changes in healthcare systems with advances in medicine and health technologies have increased the need for value-evidence to support decision making regarding the adoption of innovative therapies by various stakeholders. argenx is committed to elucidating the burden of illness faced by patients and caregivers for conditions we seek to address and providing evidence of the value of our treatments for these diseases. This will enable us to prepare for successful product launches and sustained market access to our medicines and includes generating and communicating evidence to answer questions from healthcare decision makers such as regulators, payors, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) authorities, HCPs, patient advocacy organizations, and other stakeholders in alignment with the broader strategies for our therapies. The Head, Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) leads and organizes a team of scientists and specialists to develop value-evidence supporting a large and growing portfolio. This person will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and decision makers to lead and support the planning, design, and execution of HEOR deliverables across all phases of drug development for more than 20 pipeline and marketed indications, working with Development and Commercialization teams globally. This individual will lead the HEOR capability and collaborate cross-functionally with the other capabilities including Real World Evidence (RWE), Clinical Development, Medical Affairs & Evidence Generation (MA&EG), Market Access, Commercial, Patient Advocacy, Business Development, and Regulatory to align evidence generation efforts with identified evidence gaps. The Head, HEOR will have broad responsibility to support scientifically credible HEOR work and deliverables. This includes partnering with external clinical and research experts and patient advocates. The individual will be expected to understand and engage with colleagues across the organization to provide the necessary insights to guide value-evidence needs for molecules in development and value-evidence possibilities for commercialized products aligned with defined strategy. Importantly, the Head of HEOR is responsible for developing the strategy for capability excellence at argenx, not only in the short-term but also for the long-term considering the evolving technology environment, expanding portfolio, and access landscape globally. This includes cross-functional collaboration to effectively define capability scope, budget and timelines to support a team that produces and disseminates relevant, targeted, and timely value evidence across argenx markets and for given conditions of interest. Additionally, this individual is a member of the MA&EG Leadership Team and co-owns achievement of the MA&EG vision at argenx and excellence of the MA&EG Community in achieving our goals.
