  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different teams.

Responsibilities

  • Plan the comprehensive 3-year roadmap for all technology areas to support critical product and business needs, including the aircraft, ground infrastructure, and charging systems.

  • Drive the strategic hardware engineering vision, ensuring alignment with Wing's overall commercial and operational goals.
  • Partner with the manufacturing team to seamlessly incorporate cutting-edge technologies into highly reliable products that can be manufactured cost-effectively at scale.
  • Establish a bidirectional interface with cross-functional engineering, product management, regulatory, and supply chain teams to increase aircraft design efficiency and quality and resolve complex system-level challenges.
  • Mentor and cultivate a high-performing team of staff and senior-level engineers, fostering a culture of rigorous innovation and accountability.
  • Influence executive leadership and external partners to ensure architectural decisions align with Wing's long-term commercialization strategy.
