About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Director to lead Global Employee Fraud Monitoring & Fraud Policy Insights & Analysis with a scope firmwide. This Executive Director level position that is eligible for SVP/Managing Director elevation plays a key role in GEFM&FP enterprise program by leading a team of executive directors and vice presidents. This team has exposure to and leverages sensitive employee, customer, and account information that enables key actionable insights across the fraud risk spectrum with the primary focus on employee fraud, falsification, and policy violations. This position is responsible for comprehensively understanding source data, schemas, and business intelligence tools in order to generate clear and actionable insights for employees, leadership, executives, partners, and agencies. The role requires deep knowledge of business processes, advanced root-cause and correlation analysis, and the demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Key accountabilities include supporting critical activities and developing sustainable processes primarily related to Employee (Internal) Fraud, falsification, and policy violations. Deliverables include preparing materials for regulatory bodies and committees/councils, conducting inherent and residual risk assessments, performance reporting, root-cause and trend analyses, statistical and financial loss analytics, forecasting, outside event analysis, peer benchmarking, and the development and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The individual in this role leads the end-to-end strategy for insights and analysis within the Global Employee Fraud Monitoring & Fraud Policy organization, acts as a process and control owner under RCSA across multiple RAUs, ensures strict adherence to policies and governance standards, and provides executive-level reporting on enterprise-wide performance and emerging opportunities. The director collaborates closely with risk management, legal, human resources/employee relations, front line teams, audit, regulators, and peer institutions. In this role, you will: Set strategy and lead execution of data research, analytics, and intelligence initiatives that support the business Manage and develop teams to advance business objectives and deliver key initiatives Collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, to provide strategic insights Ensure compliance with data management, data governance, policy and regulatory requirements. Oversee an enterprise-wide portfolio of standardized and ad hoc analytics to assess and improve business performance and employee fraud risk Lead the development, accuracy, and automation of insights, dashboards, committee materials, business reviews, and KRI/KPI reporting Direct fraud‑risk capability assessments across business lines and recommend control enhancements Measure performance of Global Employee Fraud Monitoring & Fraud Policy operational teams Guide analysis of boundary breaches, verify risk and root‑cause drivers, and facilitate accountability forums with SMEs Deliver aggregated fraud‑risk insights and actionable intelligence to executives, business leaders, lines of defense, and regulators Create and maintain governance documentation, routines, and controls for Frontline Monitoring programs Foster a strong culture of talent development aligned to business strategy Manage people and financial resources to meet commitments and strategic goals Interpret and implement compliance and risk‑management requirements, partnering with stakeholders on regulatory and industry initiatives
