About The Position

The Head of Finance will serve as the senior finance executive for TeraRecon, leading all finance and accounting functions while acting as both a strategic business partner and operational finance leader. This individual will oversee global accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury management, accounting, revenue accounting, procurement, and financial planning and analysis, financial operations while ensuring compliance within a regulated healthcare software environment. This role combines the responsibilities of a Controller, FP&A leader, and finance executive, providing executive-level financial leadership for a standalone global business. The ideal candidate has significant experience within SaaS, healthcare software, medical technology, or other regulated healthcare environments and is comfortable representing the business during board presentations, investor discussions, strategic planning initiatives, acquisitions, and due diligence activities. The successful candidate will lead a global finance and accounting organization with approximately five direct reports spanning multiple international regions. TeraRecon’s currently has physical offices are in the USA, Germany and Japan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA strongly preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Experience leading finance within Healthcare SaaS, healthcare software, medical technology, digital health, life sciences technology, or another regulated healthcare environment.
  • Significant experience serving as a Controller or leading global accounting organizations.
  • Deep expertise in: Financial Planning & Analysis, General Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Financial Reporting, Internal Controls, Budgeting & Forecasting.
  • Experience managing global finance organizations across multiple international regions.
  • Strong understanding of ERP and accounting platforms (including hands on experience with NetSuite, and ideally some use of Adaptive Planning).
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and translation of pipeline, bookings and sales orders into NetSuite.
  • Experience leading audits and working with external auditors.
  • Demonstrated success leading finance teams and developing high-performing talent.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA preferred; MBA with significant accounting experience also acceptable.
  • Experience supporting private equity-backed companies or high-growth organizations.
  • Experience participating in mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, fundraising, or investor relations.
  • Experience within AI, enterprise software, cloud/SaaS, or medical imaging technology.
  • Familiarity with global tax considerations and international financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior finance leader and trusted advisor to the President and executive leadership team.
  • Lead the financial strategy supporting growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Develop long-range financial plans, annual operating plans, forecasts, and executive reporting.
  • Deliver actionable financial insights that influence strategic business decisions.
  • Partner closely with commercial, product, operations, engineering, HR, and corporate finance leadership.
  • Serve as the senior Controller for the business, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Lead all global accounting operations, month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, internal controls, and financial compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP and applicable international accounting standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, systems, and internal controls.
  • Oversee external audits and coordinate with corporate auditors and finance personnel at ConcertAI.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting, and financial modeling.
  • Build executive dashboards and business performance reporting.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and business cases.
  • Identify risks and opportunities through proactive financial analysis.
  • Oversee revenue recognition practices in accordance with ASC 606, for on premise, cloud and SaaS customers.
  • Ensure compliance across complex SaaS/software revenue models including subscriptions, maintenance, services, and licensing.
  • Lead procurement governance and financial oversight of vendor management processes.
  • Lead finance actives supporting operations across: North America, Europe, Revenue Accounting, Asia Pacific, India.
  • Ensure consistency of financial processes across international operations.
  • Partner with regional business leaders to optimize financial performance while addressing local regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop a global finance organization of approximately five direct reports across multiple finance and accounting disciplines.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build organizational capabilities that support business growth and scalability.
  • Serve as the finance executive capable of independently representing TeraRecon during: Investor meetings, Due diligence processes, M&A activities, Board and executive presentations, Banking and financing discussions, Strategic business reviews.
  • Act as the primary finance representative for the standalone business while maintaining strong alignment with ConcertAI corporate functions.
