This role is responsible for leading regional security for The Americas and driving the delivery of Commercial Real Estate (facilities) and infrastructure projects. The position emphasizes hands-on project execution, with full ownership of regional security, risk management, and crisis response.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
  • 7 years of work experience in project management, security, and /or facilities management or related field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Ability to combine hands-on project delivery with security leadership and decision-making.
  • Strong execution and delivery focus.
  • Strong strategic focus in regard to security & risk management.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Clear and simple communication at all levels.
  • Ability to work across functions and locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree or training in security / risk / crisis management.
  • Certifications preferred: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), ATAP Certified Threat Manager (CTM).
  • Contracting and vendor management.
  • Strong understanding of physical security systems and controls.
  • Strong expertise in risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Strong experience in project, construction, or infrastructure delivery.
  • Proven professional experience in Corporate Security in an international company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of facility and infrastructure projects, including builds, redesigns, consolidations, and relocations.
  • Define and manage project scope, budget, schedule, and execution.
  • Manage contractors, architects, and external vendors.
  • Lead bid processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Resolve technical and operational issues during project execution.
  • Own regional security strategy and implementation in the region The Americas.
  • Lead risk assessments across sites, personnel, supply chain, and external environment.
  • Contribute to travel security, including risk and notification platforms, advisory and assistance, journey management and evacuations/repatriations.
  • Advise on physical security including access control for sites/assets, persons and operations.
  • Act as escalation point for security incidents and crisis situations.
  • Support emergency response and business continuity processes.
  • Ensure consistent security standards across all locations.
  • Protection of persons for threat management, including close/executive protection.
  • Support and advise stakeholders in event security.
  • Provide clear and regular reporting on project status (cost, timeline, risks) and security risks, incidents, and mitigation actions.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with internal functions including Operations, IT, HR, Legal, and Finance.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and security providers.
  • Coordinate with local authorities as required.
  • Drive alignment and decision-making across functions and locations.
  • Improve project delivery processes and controls.
  • Standardize tools, templates, and reporting.
  • Drive cost discipline and efficiency across projects and security spend.
