About The Position

Corporate Traveler USA is launching an exciting new chapter in Meetings & Events, and we're looking for a strategic and commercially driven Head of Events to lead the journey. Based in New York City, this role will spearhead the growth, market positioning, and operational readiness of the Meetings & Events business across the USA. You'll partner with senior leaders, sales teams, account management teams, and global stakeholders to build a scalable, profitable business that delivers exceptional client outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-growth business from the ground up while making a significant impact on revenue, client success, and future expansion.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading business growth, commercial strategy, or Meetings & Events operations.
  • Strong experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Proven ability to build and manage sustainable sales pipelines.
  • Experience identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Experience developing business cases, growth plans, revenue forecasts, and performance reporting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with accountability for financial targets and business performance.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, account management, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience representing organizations at industry events, conferences, and client-facing engagements.
  • Ability to lead business launches, operational readiness initiatives, and scalable growth programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the Corporate Traveler Meetings & Events go-to-market strategy aligned to global business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through strong partnerships with Corporate Traveler sales, account management, and leadership teams.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new Meetings & Events opportunities across the Corporate Traveler client portfolio and broader US market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, strategic partners, and internal leaders.
  • Create and execute market launch plans, including sales enablement, stakeholder engagement, service positioning, and client acquisition strategies.
  • Establish the operational readiness framework required to successfully launch and scale the Meetings & Events business.
  • Partner with operational leaders to support seamless onboarding, implementation, and delivery of Meetings & Events programs.
  • Develop business cases, growth plans, revenue forecasts, and performance reporting to support investment and strategic decisions.
  • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators including pipeline growth, revenue, profitability, client retention, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
  • Represent Meetings & Events within the Corporate Traveler USA leadership team and contribute to strategic business planning initiatives.
  • Deliver against agreed financial targets, growth objectives, and business milestones.
  • Represent Corporate Traveler Meetings & Events at industry events, conferences, networking opportunities, and client engagements.
  • Provide strategic leadership across sales, client growth, operational readiness, service delivery, and future team development.
