About The Position

This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX, where you will be in the heart of the action, surrounded by a team of passionate, high-energy individuals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will lead and improve the software development lifecycle from planning through release, partner closely with Product leadership to translate roadmap priorities into clear engineering execution plans, and drive sprint planning, prioritization, delivery management, and cross-functional alignment across multiple engineering teams. You will help scale engineering operations, delivery systems, QA processes, and development best practices, while removing blockers, improving velocity, and creating operational clarity across teams. You will stay connected to the technical side of development with a willingness to be hands-on when needed, mentor engineering leaders, and help build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate on the company’s growing AI strategy, including AI-powered product features, automation initiatives, and developer productivity enhancements, ensuring teams are delivering scalable, high-quality software that aligns with business goals and customer needs.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in software development, including leadership experience within SaaS environments
• Proven success partnering closely with Product organizations to deliver customer-facing software at scale
• Strong understanding of Agile development principles and experience leading iterative software delivery
• Experience managing multiple engineering workstreams in fast-paced environments
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with tactical execution and hands-on problem solving
• Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills
• Passion for modern software development practices, emerging technologies, and AI-driven innovation

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AI/ML initiatives, automation tooling, or AI-enabled product development is a strong plus
• Startup or high-growth SaaS experience strongly preferred
