Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Packaging Engineer, Operations Engineer, Industrial Engineer or a related role.
Alt. Educ./exp: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Packaging Engineer, Operations Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or a related role.
Lean Manufacturing and Process Improvement.
Data manipulation, analysis, and interpretation.
Project Management of Engineering Processes.
Developing and measuring Key Performance Indicators.

Responsibilities

Lead the team in producing quality products for our customers.
Through collaboration with company leadership, will develop and implement robust quality assurance processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
The Direct-to-Object Department contains some of most complex and valuable production assets, so ensuring maximum output and efficiency is paramount.
Will take a proactive approach to problem-solving with an emphasis on automation to help navigate complex situations and identify opportunities for our company to excel and remain competitive in the emerging industry of digital direct to object printing.
Will have a strong focus on performance metrics and other KPIs and work with our department management and associates to implement process improvement and continue to push boundaries with our cutting-edge production department.
Responsible for day-to-day operations and oversight of the Direct-to-Object Department.
Manage and supervise Direct-to-Object production managers and associates.
Oversee recruitment efforts for department staff including interviewing and onboarding new associates.
Develop and implement departmental strategies and processes to meet business objectives and operational needs.
Set departmental objectives, including KPI’s and other metrics, monitor progress and team performance.
Drive continuous improvement through best practices and frequent process audits.
Responsible for overall production output, uptime, and product quality.
Ensure adherence to required safety standards and practices while keeping employee health and safety a top priority.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
Keep up to date on emerging technology and trends in the direct to object printing space.
Requires approximately 5% of domestic travel. Telecommuting is permitted.
