About The Position

RTM is looking for an experienced Head of Delegate Sales to join our team! The ideal candidate has successfully managed multiple delegate teams selling a range of events, paid and unpaid. You will focus on coaching, training and mentoring your team in a B2B selling environment. We offer extensive, ongoing training and a unique opportunity for both collaborative and independent work. Our events are located in major cities throughout the country – LA, Austin, San Diego, Miami, Chicago, DC, etc.. Our team travels together which is a truly unique experience, different from “traditional” work travel, which in turn cultivates interdepartmental relationships and friendships that drive our collaborative culture. This role is hybrid in NY, NJ and CT with 2-3 days a week in the office.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel
  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing sales teams
  • Organized and detailed-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and consistency
  • Must be proactive and have the ability to lead under pressure
  • Competency with technology and ability to learn new software and applications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce and/or AirTable
  • Experience with 2 types of events or more
  • 5 years of experience of B2B Delegate sales
  • Experience selling a variety of events, paid and unpaid

Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop delegate sales team in selling process of paid/unpaid events
  • Create strategies and outreach plans for team to increase delegate participation rates
  • Build and expand relationships with current delegates and speakers
  • Help to develop and execute marketing efforts to generate additional leads
  • Work closely with the VP of Events to ensure the delegate team is tracking toward event goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce event collateral, materials and follow-up
  • Travel nationally throughout the year

  • Salary: $150,000k base + variable components
  • Year one total compensation expectations: $160,000 - $175,000
