About The Position

The client is located in the Waltham, MA area and has an opportunity for a Head of Data Architecture & AI. This role involves working as a Head of Data Architecture & AI for a client in the construction/mechanical engineering industry. The position will be responsible for leading data analytics and AI initiatives across the company. This is a contract-to-hire, long-term need for the client. This role must be worked on-site.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science preferred
• 3-5+ years of experience
• Experience with owning data architecture and long-term data roadmap
• Architect and manage cloud data platforms (SnowFlake, AWS, Azure or equivalent technologies)
• Lead system integration strategy across ERP, CRM, Project management, estimating, HR, Payroll etc.
• Define AI strategy and identify uses for systems
• Implement AI copilots and establish governance for AI security
• Experience with AWS, SQL, Power BI, Claude, ChatGPT

Responsibilities
