About The Position

This is a foundational role in our Emerging Systems team. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are bringing together technology from across our product lines to build the future of space-based communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in custom ASIC delivery lifecycle, from ideation to design to mass production
  • Proven experience in Hardware and Software partitioning and trades for communication
  • Familiarity with the Electronic Design Automation industry
  • Proven experiences owning delivery of custom silicon programs from concept to volume production

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with phased arrays and RF systems
  • Experience with mmWave RFIC and low-geometry CMOS
  • Experience with security systems and qualification
  • Ability to create technical solutions to supply chain and production constraints
  • Experience delivering program deliverables under tight constraints

Responsibilities

  • Own the program management (work-backwards execution plans) and reporting of program status to leadership
  • Manage and align Blue Origin's priorities with chip technical execution leadership; align resourcing and talent to functional ASIC leaders across all active programs
  • Hold the bar for execution and quality across all programs
  • Collaborate with all functions inside the ASIC organization and key stakeholders in the overall program
  • Build low-impact tracking mechanisms
  • Be an advocate for AI and drive AI adoption across the organization
  • Support business needs of the ASIC organization such as vendor contract negotiations, vendor management from design tools to fabs and OSAT
  • Be the link with internal and vendor supply chains
