About The Position

LifeStance Health is building the enterprise capabilities to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly and at scale. We are seeking a Head of AI Transformation & Enablement to serve as the orchestrator of this transformation – translating strategy into execution while shaping the operating model, governance, and prioritization that enable AI to scale effectively across the organization. This role sits within Strategic Enablement and operates as a strategic execution partner and system-level operator. You will work cross-functionally with teams such as Operational Excellence, Technology, and People functions to drive an integrated AI roadmap – ensuring initiatives are aligned, sequenced correctly, and delivering measurable value. You will also partner with executive leadership to shape LifeStance’s enterprise AI operating model, governance, and prioritization approach, translating strategic direction into scalable, cross-functional execution. This is not a research or experimentation role alone. It is an enterprise execution role focused on translating ambition into real-world impact through disciplined program leadership, governance, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, understands both opportunity and risk, and can move seamlessly between strategic framing, operating-model design, and hands-on program leadership, all while bringing a system-design lens. You will act as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, while being relentlessly focused on outcomes, adoption, and enterprise readiness. You will both design key elements of how we operate and directly drive execution of critical initiatives. Success requires the ability to move fluidly between strategy and detail – setting direction, making trade-offs, and personally advancing the work where needed. This role also plays a critical part in translating AI opportunities in clear business cases, ensuring investments are grounded in measurable value and aligned with enterprise priorities. Consistent with LifeStance’s values, every member of the LifeStance team is expected to support the mission, including participating in projects and initiatives beyond those explicitly outlined in this role.
