About The Position

The Head of AI Strategy & Deployment is responsible for driving customer impact, adoption, and revenue growth through value-led engagements across the full customer lifecycle. This role blends pre-sales strategy, post-sales execution, product influence, and team leadership to ensure customers realize measurable outcomes from Databook’s platform. You will lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers internally and partner with external consultancies to deliver Agentic AI solutions for go-to-market use cases. You will additionally develop proprietary frameworks, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, outcome-driven agentic experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in value-based selling and driving measurable customer outcomes and revenue growth
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a Strategy Consulting role with an MBA and experience in financial analysis
  • Experience operating across the full customer lifecycle, including pre-sales, post-sales, and cross-functional product collaboration
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to define and optimize key performance metrics
  • Deep passion for using agentic tools in business and personal workflows
  • Exceptional stakeholder and project management skills, with experience influencing Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value propositions
  • Experience building and scaling repeatable go-to-market methodologies and sales playbooks
  • Proven leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams as well as cross-functional leadership responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead Value-Driven Pre-Sales Engagements: Deliver compelling, outcome-focused demonstrations aligned to customer priorities. Lead technical discovery to assess workflow fit and data feasibility, and identify opportunities to drive expansion through increased platform adoption.
  • Own Seamless Post-Sales Delivery: Partner closely with customers and post-sale team members to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery. Configure and deploy agentic workflows, and lead go-live readiness including QA and UAT to ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Shape The Future of AI GTM Product Innovation: Collaborate with Customers and our Product and Engineering teams to identify new agentic patterns that drive GTM productivity. Oversee platform outputs meet a high standard of quality and business relevance. Own Databook’s proprietary quality framework, contributing to the evolution of differentiated eval and quality assurance.
  • Scale Customer Enablement through AI Bootcamps: Design and deliver impactful customer training programs in partnership with R&D, enabling users to successfully build and adopt solutions on the platform. Lead quarterly bootcamps to accelerate adoption and long-term customer value.
