Head of AI Efficiency

JLL•Seattle, WA
•$193,000 - $240,000•Onsite

About The Position

The Head of AI Efficiency will lead a unified, prioritized, and measurable AI program across a JLL client account. The role combines capabilities from JLL’s central AI organization with citizen AI developed by account teams, aligning both to outcomes jointly agreed by JLL and the client. It is structured as a two-in-a-box partnership with the JLL account team and an equally senior client-side counterpart, with joint accountability for AI priorities and outcomes. This is a hands-on role requiring practical knowledge of outsourced corporate real estate operations, including facilities management, project management, lease administration, transaction management, and occupancy planning. The role evaluates whether AI solutions can work in operational settings, leads ideas from concept through production and measurable impact, and coordinates adoption across existing operational teams. It establishes a rigorous baseline and measurement framework and maintains a consolidated view of return on investment across the account’s full scope. The position works through JLL’s technology organization and business-line operational leaders to implement capabilities consistently. It also governs citizen AI development so teams can innovate without creating shadow-IT risk, duplicated tooling, or unmanaged data exposure. This position does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. It is on-site in Arlington, Virginia; Chicago, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; New York, New York; San Francisco, California; or Seattle, Washington.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, including direct working exposure and operational fluency in the relevant business lines.
  • Executive-level program management experience and a track record of influencing outcomes across teams that do not report directly to the candidate.
  • Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working fluency in AI and agentic AI development and deployment against end-to-end business processes, sufficient to critically assess vendor and team claims.
  • Data literacy, including understanding how data is sourced, cleaned, and checked for quality.
  • Comfort operating in a two-in-a-box structure with joint JLL and client accountability.
  • Experience with process reengineering, redesigning workflows rather than simply automating existing processes.
  • Continuous-improvement discipline, such as kaizen, owned by operational teams.
  • AI/ML and cloud tooling fluency relevant to the account’s environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma / DMAIC or equivalent rigor for measurable, sustained results; Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a measurement framework from the outset, comparing pre-agentic baselines with post-agentic performance and reporting consolidated ROI across the account’s full scope.
  • Maintain a ranked view of central and citizen AI activity across the account and prioritize initiatives according to jointly agreed client objectives.
  • Manage citizen AI development while reducing shadow-IT risk, duplicated tooling, and unmanaged data exposure; determine what to adopt into the roadmap and what to retire.
  • Lead AI initiatives from concept through production deployment and measured impact for the people doing the work.
  • Influence operational teams across the account’s five service lines to adopt and sustain the AI program.
  • Partner with JLL’s technology organization and operational leaders in each business line to roll out capabilities in a repeatable, programmatic way.
  • Align prioritization decisions with the objectives agreed upon by JLL and the client.
  • Apply operational knowledge of facilities management, project management, lease administration, transaction management, and occupancy planning to assess AI recommendations and solutions.
