About The Position
Propel Schools is seeking an Head Middle School Track Coach for the 26-27 season starting this spring. This role will support the Middle School's track program with the assistant coach, athletic director, and other coaching staff. The 2026-2027 Middle School Track Season is scheduled to begin in April and conclude in May, with potential for postseason participation. This position includes a seasonal stipend of $1,750, which will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.
Requirements
- Up-to-date TB Test
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance
- Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training
- Prior high school, middle school, and/or youth track coaching experience
- Knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
- A commitment to the Propel Habits
Nice To Haves
- Student-athlete experience on the high school and/or intercollegiate level
- Prior middle school coaching experience
- USATF certification
