About The Position

The University of Maine at Presque Isle invites applications for the position of Head Men’s Soccer Coach. Reporting to the Executive Director of Athletics and Recreation, this 12-month, full-time role is responsible for all aspects of leading a competitive NCAA Division III program. In addition to coaching, the successful candidate will serve as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Advisor, providing vital mentorship to student-leaders and essential support to the broader Athletics Department. We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered professional dedicated to excellence in recruitment, retention, academic success, and the holistic development of student-athletes, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Demonstrated experience in coaching men’s soccer.
Excellent communication, managerial, and organizational skills.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel extensively for athletic contests.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the University’s Motor Pool driving requirements.

Nice To Haves

Previous coaching experience at the NCAA level.
Experience in a collegiate playing environment.
Familiarity with NCAA Division III rules, standards, and compliance regulations.
Experience working with student-athletes in an academic or advisory setting.
