This position is for the Head Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at South High School. Requirements
- Current Resume
- CHSAA Online Coaches Test (Current Year)
- NFHS Concussion Certificate (or an in-person concussion course completion certificate)
- 1st Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Current)
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of hire
- If applying to coach at the High School Level, must have a current teaching license OR be a retired teacher OR meet the requirements for non-teaching applicants.
- For non-teaching applicants, upon acceptance of any high school coaching vacancy, you will be required to register for a CHSAA one-year coaching registration and/or permanent coaching registration. Coaching will not be permitted until registration requirements are completed and verified.
Nice To Haves
- Previous coaching experience and/or successful participation in athletics at the high school or collegiate level
- Previous playing experience in the sport of Basketball.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Head Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Ensure all CHSAA (Colorado High School Activities Association) related requirements and coaching registration are completed and verified.
- Adhere to the mission and core values of Pueblo School District 60.
