Head Enterprise Architect
About The Position
The Head Enterprise Architect is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities for the overall architecture and development of proprietary software products used by the organization to trade securities on electronic markets. This role involves directing daily operations, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines. The Head Enterprise Architect will meet with managers to solicit cooperation and resolve problems, review project plans to coordinate activity, and assign and review the work of software developers. Key responsibilities include managing the deployment of trading strategies, assigning responsibilities to software developers, monitoring project progress, developing profitable low-latency trading strategies, developing client applications for traders, and developing custom applications as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computing and information science, computer science or a related field.
- Five (5) years of experience as a software architect, software engineer or a related field.
- Five (5) years of progressively more responsible post-baccalaureate experience in building proprietary low-latency trading software and strategies.
- Five (5) years of experience with futures trading exchanges.

- Developing custom applications as needed by traders.
