The Care Provider Clearinghouse, administered by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), provides background screening results for individuals employed in roles serving children, the elderly, and disabled individuals. This system facilitates the sharing of criminal history check results among participating agencies, thereby reducing duplication and costs, and offering more current information with online tracking of the screening process.
